DiS: You had been thinking more about the tracks as opposed to the way they’d be gotten?
BD: i did not always think the tracks on Soft Effects would be heard. It, getting it done as fast as possible when we were writing and recording that EP, originally all of those songs were going to be b-sides, so there was a bit of a ‚throw away‘ quality to.
